Introducing Fresh Cuttings

Updated: Jun 20

Starting today, I'm excited to introduce Fresh Cuttings — a new bi-monthly newsletter that keeps your garden calendar blooming.

In between each Bloom With Me, you'll get:• Fast links to garden events and local happenings• Flower tips and seasonal news• What’s blooming around Minnesota (and for travelers, bloom notices in other areas) —

Quick to read, easy to love — that’s the idea behind Fresh Cuttings. Let it spark your next outing or garden project.

June is National Pollinator Month.

Heidi's Growhaus and Lifestyle Gardens, has some great ideas on how to invite bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators into our gardens. Her website has a list of plants including some that I have on my patio: Salvia, Lantana and Cuphea.

Also, FREE Minnesota State Park Day, June 14th. On four days each year, all Minnesota state parks and state recreation areas offer free admission to everyone - no vehicle permits needed!
